When the hectic day
comes to an end,
I rush home
to my furry friend.
She beats me
to my easy chair;
then kind and comforting
and cunning,
she parks herself
upon my lap,
but leaves
her motor running.
Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
