Into It: Dog the Bounty Hunter
... Listening to?
It's like a boxer before he gets into the ring, we do the same thing to get into the [right] state of mind. Mostly rock 'n' roll. Ozzy Osborne, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors. You know, older songs, because I'm an older guy. I load them on my [Oakley MP3] glasses. They hold 400 songs. I [also] use an iPod.
... Watching?
All kinds of movies, on cable or satellite. Mr. and Mrs. Smith, we loved that, of course. I want to see 300 but people told me it's really gory. I like a lot of Tom Cruise's stuff. College and pro football, baseball. My nephew played for Rice University and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins, so I watch them. [In the NFL] I follow the Raiders, the Broncos, Dallas. I watch ... NBC, Fox, CNN for predators that are on the run.
... Reading?
I read about the fugitive I'm chasing, or a fugitive that was like him. I read Tony Robbins when I get a chance. I read a lot of the Bible, King James. We get People, Time, Field & Stream, FHM, National Geographic. The New York Times and Washington Post. I like the Globe & Mail [from Canada]. [To wife Beth, laughing:] I said the Times, honey. I don't read Martha Stewart (she does).
