Bill O’Reilly’s newest book, “Killing Kennedy,” will be adapted for television by National Geographic, with production slated to begin this spring.
O’Reilly’s book “Killing Lincoln,” co-written, like “Kennedy,” with writer Martin Dugard, was also adapted for TV by National Geographic, and the special is scheduled to air this February. Director Ridley Scott is producing both adaptations. The “Kennedy” adaptation will be two hours.
“Producing Bill O’Reilly’s follow-up was a no-brainer and will be yet another story that will resonate with our audience,” National Geographic Channel president Howard Owens said in a statement.
Casting for “Kennedy” has not yet begun, but actor Billy Campbell is portraying Abraham Lincoln in the special “Killing Lincoln” and actor Tom Hanks is narrating the film.
