House Votes to Stop Women's Health Funding

On Thursday, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to overturn a ruling which happened at the end of the Obama administration. The HHS regulation dealt with Title X funding. It required states to give money to Planned Parenthood and other clinics. Many anti-choice politicians aim to defund those clinics which perform abortions in addition to providing other necessary healthcare. Representative Dan Kildee of Michigan said, "Republicans are again focused on attacking women's health".
