Clinton will continue campaigning this weekend in an effort to rescue Democrats from a midterm election that looks grim for the party.

Former President Bill Clinton will campaign Sunday in Detroit, Ann Arbor and Battle Creek with several Democratic candidates.

Clinton will begin his Michigan swing with an early afternoon event with gubernatorial candidate Virg Bernero in Detroit at a location yet to be determined.

He'll follow that with a 2 p.m. rally with 15th District Rep. John Dingell at Rackham Auditorium on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor.

The former president will wrap up the day with an evening rally with 7th District Rep. Mark Schauer at Kellogg Community College's Miller Gymnasium.

The events are free and open to the public, but tickets are required to attend. Details on how to get tickets at Michigan Democratic Party field offices will be released soon.
