Leonardo Bevilacqua is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies. He was a Staff writer at Byline where he covered youth culture in New York City. He taught high school English in the Mississippi Delta for two years where he also produced theatre. As a writer, he covers culture and society. As a native New Yorker, he knows where the best bagel and lox is. He's fluent in Hebrew with a background in Latin. He got his start at Bwog: Columbia Student News, serving on the editorial board as well as contributing dispatches.
