Lance jury selection set to start; dismissal sought

Jury selection for the bank fraud trial of former US Budget Director Bert Lance is scheduled to begin here Monday, but last-minute motions by defense attorneys to have the case dismissed could delay the proceedings. Mr. Lance, who along with three Georgia associates was indicted on 33 counts of bank fraud and bank fraud conspiracy eight months ago, has contended that his right to a fair trial has been hampered by "leaks" of grand jury information.
