The Senate overwhelmingly approved Tuesday a resolution backing President Carter's call for a US boycott of the summer Olympics in Moscow. The Seneate adopted the resolution calling for a US and Western boycott of the Moscow games unless the International Olympic Committee transfers, postponed, or cancels the games. The Foreign Relations Committee voted 14 to 0 in favor of the resolution Monday after hearing testimony from senators, including Bill Bradley (D) of New JErsey, who was a 1964 Olympic basketball gold medalist, and more recent competitors.
