Further delay in sanctions on Iran announced by US

The State Department says there will be a further delay in imposing the economic sanctions intended to pressure Iran into releasing the 50 Americna hostages. One official described the postponement of the sactions as "A pragmatic delay," but said the administration still plans eventually to go ahead with a ban on most trade with Iran, as long as the hostages continue to be held.
