Ali sparring in Africa for Soviet games boycott

Muhammad Ali began an African tour Sunday to seek support for a boycott of the Moscow Olympic Games and said Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev had tried to make him abandon the mission. Mr. Ali has been appointed President Carter's special envoy in the move to retaliate for Soviet intervention in Afghanistan.
