Soviet troops, equipment still pour into Afghanistan

Six weeks after Afghanistan's Moscow-backed coup, the Soviet Union is still pouring troops and military Equipment into the country. About 12 miles from Heiratan, a town on the banks of the Amu-Darya River, which forms the border between the two countries, a convoy of 46 Soviet armored personnel carriers, 250 trucks, and five large tanks recently thundered southward past a group of three Western correspondents.
