New press guidelines issued by Iran

The number of American journalists allowed into Iran under new guidelines issued by the ruling Revolutionary Council will be limited to 25, Foreign Press Director Abolqassem Sadegh was quoted Thursday as saying. The newspaper Kayhan quoted Mr. Sadegh in an interview as saying that Iram would admit one television crew from each US network and "a limited number of journalists from the famous American press."
