Socialist withdrawal may topple Cossiga coalition

Italian Premier Francesco Cossiga's minority coalition government could fall by Wednesday or Thursday, political sources say. The Socialist Party, which has been keeping Mr. Cossiga's coalition alive by abstaining from voting against it, is expected to announce the withdrawal of its indirect support.
