'Key Cities' program
April 7, 1980
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and The Acting Company announced their new "Key Cities" program today, established to celebrate their new affiliation during the 1980-81 touring year.
Named the official touring arm of the Kennedy Center in January of this year, The Acting Company is headed by John Houseman, Michael Kahn, Alan Schneider, and Margot Harley.
Designed to permit eight to ten communities across the nation to have extended residencies by America's youthful repertory theater company, the "Key Cities" program provides performances and workshops by The Acting Company's highly trained actors and technicians.
