Forgotten Toys

My forgotten toys Sit upon my shelf, Just waiting to be loved. My teddy bear with button eyes Gathers dust on the shelf above. He sits up there Remembering All my forgotten joys. And my favorite doll Sits on my bed Wondering when she'll be a forgotten toy. All our toys Are like memories We can dismiss them with tears or laughter. But our favorite toys Are like true friends That we cherish ever after.
