Sen. Edward M. Kennedy won again without winning much -- this time in Michigan. The Saturday caucus was actually a dead heat -- Mr. Kennedy picked up 71 delegates; Mr. Carter, 70. The senator's one-delegate edge over President Carter was not so much a trimph as additional evidence that he is unable to mount the massive delegate victories he needs to catch Mr. Carter, Monitor correspondent Godfrey Sperling Jr. reports. The President has approximately 1, 186 of the 1,666 delegates he needs to win the nomination. Senator Kennedy has 666.5 delegates.
