President Elias Sarkis will open talks today (June 9) on the formation of a government of national unity after the resignation of Premier Selim al- Hoss, but the delicate negotiations could take several weeks. Mr. Hoss handed in his Cabinet's resignation Saturday, saying he hoped to pave the way for a government aimed at foreign national entente in war-ravaged Lebanon. Mr. Hoss became premier soon after the end of Lebanon's 1975-76 civil war.
