Anderson's in the race; overseas trip is planned

John B. Anderson announced Tuesday he will continue in the presidential race and make an overseas trip aimed at showing voters his expertise in foreign affairs. With an interpreter at his side translating his remarks into sign language for the deaf, Mr. Anderson said he would leave next week for a trip to the Middle East and Europe.
So far, Mr. Anderson has met the requirements to get on the ballot in 10 states.
