China, W. Germany open telecommunications line

A telecommunications line has been opened between Peking and Offenbach, in West Germany, for the exchange of meteorogical information, the New China News Agency reported last weekend. The link is part of the global telecommunications system of the world weathr watch of the World Meteorological Orgnization.
