'Shogun' pushed NBC to the top last week

"Shogun" gave NBC its highest-rated week in history last week by scoring as the top five shows of the week in the current Nielsen ratings, Monitor television critic Arthur Unger reports. It is the second-highest-rated week for any network in television history, the first being ABC's "Roots" week in January 1977.
