Mother's Day is a shameless piece of junk about a sadistic old lady and her two psychopathic sons. Yet it aspires to satire! The bad guys are named Ike and Addley -- get it? -- and the movie suggests their evil ways are connected with the decadence of citified ways and gadgets, especially TV. OK, TV is stupid a lot of the time, but it's rarely this vicious. "Mother's Day" has no excuse.
