Jaworski to head 'Democrats for Reagan"

Washington
Former Watergate prosecutor Leon Jaworski announced he will head "Democrats for Ronald Reagan," although he once labeled the GOP presidential candidate an extremist.
"I'd rather have a competent extremist than an incompetent moder ate," Mr. Jaworski said in a news conference, in which he was strongly critical of President Carter's handling of dealings with Libya by his brother, Billy. He said he could not compare the seriousness of Watergate with the Billy Carter issue, because "we do not yet know all the facts."
