Small-town boys make it big
December 1, 1980
Country boys make better executives. At least, that's what one Burbank, Calif., executive search firm found in a recent survey of some 65 corporate executives making at least $1 million or more in compensation. Out of the 65, 75 percent came from small towns. Of the big-city 25 percent, half came from either New York or Chicago; and 30 percent of those questioned were originally from the US West.
