Three astronomers say they have discovered perhaps the most massive and brightest star known in a companion galaxy of the Milky Way. The professors at the University of Wisconsin at Madison announced the discovery of the "super massive" star in the Tarantula Nebula. They named it R136a and said it may release 150 million times as much energy as the sun.
