Standing in a treacherous place I heard a voice, without a face ask -- apparently of me -- "Choose which you would rather see in this world of perfidy: The showing up? The casting-out? Or a shattering right-about?" A voice addressed me. And I knew mine the choice. False or true: "A foe brought down? Or a foe raised -- to proceed -- en route with you?"
