Cynthia Dwyer, the American free-lance journalist held for nine months in Iran as a spy, flew home to New York Wednesday saying she had been "reasonably well treated for the kind of situation I was in." Mrs. Dwyer was met at Kennedy International airport on a flight from Zurich by her husband and their three children.
Mrs. Dwyer was convicted of spying by an Iranian revolutionary tribunal last week and sentenced retroactively to nine months' imprisonment.
