Israeli planes raid 4 Lebanese cities

Israeli planes hit targets around four cities Monday on the second day of raids on south Lebanon. Eyewitnesses said the targets included Miyeh Miyeh, near Sidon, and Burj Shemali, near Tyre, both of which have Palestinian refugee camps. Other areas attacked were near Damour, south of Beirut, and around the southern town of Nabatiyeh. Meanwhile, preparations went ahead in the capital for a visit today (April 28) by Syrian Foreign Minister Abd al-Halim Khaddam, who received his Lebanese counterpart, Fuad Butrus, in Damascus Sunday. After that meeting, both ministers expressed optimism abou t peace prospects.
