The White House is moving quickly to check its deteriorating relations with organized labor. The AFL-CIO Executive Council accuses the Reagan administration of using the Labor Department to attack basic working standards and complains of a failure in communications with labor "from the Oval Office right down the line."
Next week, presidential assistant elizabeth Dole will meet with AFL-CIO president Lane Kirkland to try changing those perceptions while reminding labor o f its own failures to communicate with the administration.
