Sweet plums for brunch

If you're planning to have friends over for a weekend brunch and are looking for something different to prepare, take advantage of luscious plums which are in plentiful supply.
Along with the usual scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, and English muffins, try this dish with plums.
Cut 6 plums in half. Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a heavy skillet, and add a pinch of cinnamon.
Add plums and heat through, turning frequently so that they are well covered with the butter-cinnamon mixture.
