The US Mint began selling uncut sheets of $1 bills - suitable for framing or for wallpaper. The largest sheet contains 32 bills and will sell for $38, more than the government charges for going to the trouble of cutting them up. Sheets of 16 bills are being be sold for $20.25.
Both prices are for purchases made at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington. Sheets bought through the mail will cost more.
