US gets Watergate tapes clouding current official

Revelations from Richard Nixon's Watergate tapes and documents that could involve wrongdoing by a current public official have been forwarded to the Justice Department, United Press International learned Thursday.
The evidence of possible criminal activity by a Nixon administration official still in government turned up during routine examination of 4,000 hours of tapes and 40 million documents by National Archives researchers last spring.
