A one-pound coin -- that's $1.85 -- coming in Britain

London
Inflation being what it is, Britain is introducing a one-pound coin -- double the value of the biggest coin in current circulation.
The Royal Mint has also announced it will introduce a second coin, for 20 pence.
The (STR)1 coin, worth $1.85 at current rates, will be yellow, but not gold, made of a metal alloy. The 20 p. piece, worth 37 cents, is of cupronickel, an alloy of copper and nickel.
The mint said (STR)1 bills will remain in circulation.
