UN Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick said she does not believe the Reagan administration is contemplating a blockade of Nicaragua to cut off arms and advisers reaching insurgents in El Salvador.
She told a Senate Foreign Relations subcommittee she thought a reasonable approach would be to share US intelligence with the Salvadoran government to help it monitor and possibly prevent the flow to its guerrilla opponents.
