Sen. Harrison Williams (D) of New Jersey, still defiant in the face of long odds, vowed Wednesday to continue to fight possible Senate expulsion and said to reporters, ''Right now, I am not thinking resignation.''
The statement came shortly after a Senate source said Senator Williams was considering resigning rather than face possible censure or ouster over his involvement in the FBI's Abscam probe.
