The ethics of using computers has been discussed ever since their potential for control of information and invasion of privacy became evident. It's good to hear that college courses on the ''moral issues'' and ''ethical impact'' of computers are coming on line as computers spread into virtually every walk of life. We know a humanities professor who wisely counsels all his students to study computers; so should computer students be plugged into the ethical and philosophical context of their work.
