General Motors is recalling more than a half-million 1982 front-wheel-drive cars - including all its just-introduced A-cars - to replace fuel-hose clamps, which could corrode and cause fuel leaks.
Dealers will also inspect the clutch cable on about 5,000 of the recalled cars that are equipped with a four-speed manual transmission and power brakes. Out-of-place cables could eventually wear through the left-front brake pipe.
