Soviet defense minister meets with Indian leaders

Soviet Defense Minister Dimitry Ustinov, starting a five-day official visit, assured India of continued Soviet military aid.
Marshal Ustinov met with Indian Defense Minister Ramaswami Venkataraman and later with Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, but no details of their discussions were disclosed. It was believed the talks may have touched on the US decision to supply Pakistan with F-16 aircraft and other weapons.
