Traditionally, the gardens are at their peak of bloom from mid-April through early June, and visitors to Winterthur will be able to enjoy the acres of display gardens, the American Sampler Tour, and sixteen of the most magnificent museum rooms on an unreserved basis from Saturday, April 10 through Sunday, June 7. The Winterthur Museum and Gardens is located on Route 52, six miles northwest of Wilmington, Delaware.

Winterthur is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, with a 25% discount for senior citizens, students over 12, and groups of 25 or more. A ticket for the gardens only is $2 for adults, with $1.50 for others.
