Arthur P. Wuth: Teacher, Lecturer, Director
Arthur P. Wuth, C.S.B., of Denver, Colo., who passed on April 5, served the Christian Science movement for many years.
Mr. Wuth was a graduate of the University of Denver and was active in the field of radio broadcasting until he entered the full-time public practice of Christian Science in 1942. In 1946 he was appointed Committee on Publication for Colorado and served in that capacity until 1956. Over a period of years Mr. Wuth was also a moderator on many radio and television programs for The Mother Church.
Mr. Wuth became an authorized teacher of Christian Science in 1952, and was appointed to the Christian Science Board of Lectureship in 1956. He continued in this work until 1959 when he was elected First Reader of The Mother Church.
Following his term as First Reader, Mr. Wuth was elected a Trustee of The Christian Science Publishing Society where he served until he was elected a member of The Christian Science Board of Directors in 1964. He held this post until 1975 when he resigned to devote his full time to the practice and teaching of Christian Science. In 1980 he was reappointed to the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
