Tired of paying taxes, Americans? Cheer up. It seems taxes will take a smaller share of workers' daily earnings this year than last. According to the Tax Foundation, a nonprofit research group, the amount of time each day now required to pay federal, state, and local taxes is 2 hours, 44 minutes -- a whole 3 minutes less than in 1981.
