Reagan: unpaid taxes could wipe out deficit

President Reagan urged Americans to stop cheating and pay an estimated $95 billion in taxes due to the government each year.

In his weekly radio address, the President said if recovered, tax revenue lost in transactions not reported to the Internal Revenue Service would nearly wipe out the projected $100.5 billion 1982 federal spending deficit.
