Archbishop tells Polish youth: stop street fights

Polish troops marched through downtown Warsaw Sunday to commemorate the end of World War II while riot police with water cannon stood by to prevent any fresh street clashes following last week's demonstrations.

In a sermon in Krakow, Roman Catholic Archbishop Jozef Glemp appealed to young people to avoid street fighting.
