Dual treatment of those from hostile lands upheld

The United States does not have to treat citizens of unfriendly nations with the same courtesy and consideration it extends to its friends, the 10th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled.

The court rejected the lawsuits of two Iranian nationals who were given 15 days to leave the country voluntarily before being deported.

Both plaintiffs made their requests during the hostage crisis between Iran and the US.
