Annual Meeting in Boston

Members of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, are gathering this weekend for their denomination's 87th Annual Meeting, Monday at 2 p.m.
Overall theme for the 1982 Annual Meeting plus related inspirational sessions Monday evening and Tuesday morning and afternoon is ''The glorious liberty of God's children.''
Church officers and committees will report on the denomination's publishing, membership, financial, and informational activities. All meetings are held in the Extension of The Mother Church with closed-circuit television transmission to nearby overflow audience locations.
Tickets are available to members beginning Monday morning at 8:30 at registration tables on the Church Center plaza. Late registration will be provided at Hynes Auditorium from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday; and from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Care for children through age 11 will be provided at Hynes Auditorium during all sessions.
Visitors to the new Bible Exhibit from Saturday, June 5, through Wednesday, June 9, will need special tickets, available until June 7 in the Church Administration Building lobby. Thereafter, tickets will be available in the general registration area near the Church Colonnade Building.
During the Annual Meeting period, from June 2 through June 11, the exhibit will be closed to the general public. Regular hours will resume Saturday, June 12.
