Bush prasies New Right as a response to decay

Vice-President George Bush assured 42,000 fundamentalist Christians in the Superdome that America should ''welcome'' the New Right as a healthy political response to moral decay.

In a speech Sunday as part of the Billy Graham crusade, Mr. Bush denied that groups like the Moral Majority were trying to impose their values on other Americans.
