Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, the second Japanese company charged with plotting to steal IBM's computer secrets, has denied the accusations and says it will be vindicated in court.
On Monday a federal grand jury in San Jose, Calif., indicted Japan's sixth-largest computermaker, three employees, and one other person on charges of conspiring to transport stolen material from the United States to Japan.
The latest indictments brought to 18 the number of people charged in California in connection with the International Business Machines case.
