The World Bank said government protection of agriculture in much of the industrial world has created major problems in developing countries.
The bank's ''World Development Report 1982'' released Sunday said farmers in most industrial countries are heavily protected by government subsidies, while most developing countries depend on earnings from farm exports to pay for their economic growth.
It also said the outlook for the global economy has deteriorated considerably since last year.
