William Paley reportedly to resign from CBS

William Paley is reported to be planning to resign later this year as chairman of the board at CBS.

The weekly New York magazine, quoting unidentified sources, also said Mr. Paley will invest ''a chunk'' of his over $500 million fortune in Whitcom, a private partnership that owns all of Whitney Communications.
