The Irish Republican Army (IRA) said Tuesday it had executed a kidnapped Protestant, Tom Cochrane, but it did not link his death to the recent deaths of two Catholics.
Police reported Tuesday that a Catholic campaign worker for the IRA's political wing, Sinn Fein, had been shot in the town of Armagh. The body of another Catholic, Joe Donaghan, had been discovered Monday.
