At least 10 people were killed when fighting broke out Monday between Christian and Druze forces at a Christian funeral in the Israeli-occupied Shouf Mountains, according to sources on both sides.
A Druze family opened fire on the funeral because Christian militiamen had killed members of the Druze family a few days earlier. It was the highest daily death toll in clashes that have erupted sporadically over the last few weeks between Druze Muslims and Christians in the area.
